A virtual team composite is "built" in Photoshop from portraits of each individual player photographed on a white background, with the final "team" image assembled on a custom background. There are several advantages to the virtual team composite, including having several background images to choose from, but most importantly, no one is absent and every player is guaranteed to be smiling!
